After establishing wholly owned self-built clinics and investing in dental management systems, DXY announced the paid opening of its clinic management system, launching a digital management solution for small and medium-sized medical institutions—“DXY Cloud Manager.”
What is DXY Cloud Manager?
Dingxiang Cloud Manager, developed by DXY and built on the Tencent Cloud platform, integrates with the WeChat Official Accounts Platform. Patients can directly schedule pre-consultation appointments and conduct post-consultation follow-ups via the official WeChat accounts of affiliated clinics, enabling communication through text, image-text, voice, and video formats.
Compared with existing clinic management systems, Dingxiang Cloud Manager is developed based on a new SaaS model, offering greater convenience. It requires only initial configuration for long-term use and incurs lower operational costs.
Pricing:According to Zhang Jin, CEO of DXY, the basic version of DXY Cloud Manager is priced at RMB 2,000 per year, which generally meets the needs of a standard clinic. Specific pricing will be adjusted based on the clinic’s scale. If the clinic opts to configure corresponding hardware, additional charges will apply.
Openness:“Dingxiang Cloud Manager” not only includes a management system but can also be equipped with compatible smart phones. The smart phones are directly integrated into the system, improving the efficiency of phone usage for clinic receptionists and customers. The system enables synchronized responses across terminals such as computers, iPads, and mobile phones, meeting the needs of both internal and remote clinic management. Additionally, “Dingxiang Cloud Manager” features comprehensive third-party integration capabilities, allowing it to connect with a wide range of smart wearable devices as well as third-party diagnostic and testing services, and can be expanded according to the specific needs of each clinic.
How to Build a Primary Healthcare Ecosystem?
“The open management system was an idea we had from the very beginning of establishing our clinic. Especially after the opening of DXY Clinic, many peers visited and inquired about franchise opportunities. However, we believe it is better to teach someone how to fish than to give them a fish.” Zhang Jin, CEO of DXY (Dingxiang Yuan), believes that only by achieving economies of scale can the healthcare sector bring about genuine change.
On the other hand, small and medium-sized medical institutions using "Dingxiang Cloud Manager" will become potential candidates for screening as franchise partners of Dingxiang Clinic, which is also one of the purposes behind Dingxiang Garden's launch of its clinic management system. It is reported that Dingxiang Garden will initiate its clinic franchising business in the second half of the year. "Currently, the patient flow at Dingxiang Clinic has far exceeded expectations, with frequent appointment caps on weekends," said Zhang Jin.
Zhang Jin told VCBeat that the current users of the DXY Clinic System are primarily private medical institutions and individual clinics, with community healthcare organizations being the next target customer segment for the system.
