Winning Health’s “4+1” Strategy for Internet + Healthcare Services

2016: Winning Health Accelerated Its Industrial Layout

From Winning Health’s “4+1” strategy for its Internet + healthcare services, it is not difficult to discern the company’s frequent strategic moves in 2016: In January, the company changed its name from Winning Software to Winning Health, shifting its strategic focus entirely to internet-based healthcare. Also in January, Winning Software signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Shanghai Tongji Hospital, with both parties planning toStrategic cooperation for in-depth integration across multiple areas, including the development of electronic medical records and interoperability capabilities, the establishment of a massive multi-dimensional data mining center, and the implementation of intelligent management platforms along with daily operations and maintenance. In February, Winning Health acquired Hefei Hansi (a company specializing in the development of hospital information and intelligent systems) to strengthen its “Cloud Healthcare” strategic framework. In April, Winning Health partnered with China Life Insurance to launch business collaborations in the health insurance sector, thereby reinforcing its “Cloud Insurance” strategic framework.

This strategic equity investment in Mengtianmen will enable complementary advantages between Mengtianmen’s products, R&D capabilities, and customer resources, and Winning Health’s strengths in channels, market presence, user base, and product offerings. Through integration across these areas, the parties aim to build a comprehensive healthcare information technology industry chain. These moves indicate that Winning Health is accelerating its deployment of health cloud services to further enhance its “Medical Internet+” service ecosystem.
