The forum aims to establish a platform for communication and collaboration within the industry. During his address, President Chen also delivered a keynote speech titled "The Role and Responsibility of Industry Associations in the Era of Mobile Health." He pointed out that the prevalence of diabetes in China is on the rise. In addition to strengthening diabetes prevention and providing high-quality clinical medical services to patients, it is essential to continuously enhance patients' awareness and capabilities in self-management, while leveraging mobile health technologies to explore more effective patient management models. President Chen elaborated on and provided prospects for the remote consultation model established through the association's official management platform, "Blood Sugar Guardian" (Kongtang Weishi). Finally, President Chen emphasized that, against the backdrop of mobile health, the Beijing Diabetes Prevention and Control Association will fulfill its responsibilities by focusing on four key areas: serving as an effective assistant to the government, providing industry data, implementing management models, and promoting industry development. The association will work jointly with all sectors of society to make greater contributions to the cause of diabetes prevention and control.
