Dr. Zhou XiaoguangCurrently a Research Fellow and Doctoral Supervisor at the Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Recognized as an Overseas High-Level Talent in 2011, he has long been engaged in the research and development of analytical methods for life sciences and high-end instrumentation. He pursued his bachelor’s degree at the University of Science and Technology of China from 1978 to 1981, then went to the United States, where he studied at the graduate schools of the University of Houston and Rice University from 1982 to 1988, earning a Ph.D. in Science.
He has previously served as a Scientist, Senior Engineer, Supervising Engineer, and Project Leader at Thermo Fisher Scientific.Held positions including R&D Project Manager, Senior R&D Manager, and R&D Director at Applied Biosystems; served as a Foreign Expert and Visiting Professor at the Beijing Genomics Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
