Jiankang160's Obstetrics and Gynecology Doctor Story Contest Concludes Successfully with Top 10 Compassionate Doctors Selected by Public Vote

Hearing the cries of newborns and seeing the joyful smiles on the faces of new mothers and their families—this is perhaps the happiest moment for an obstetrician-gynecologist. The story collection campaign for OB-GYN physicians, organized by Jiuyi 160, a leading internet healthcare platform in China, has recently concluded successfully. With over 500 submissions from across the country, the campaign has portrayed the diligent work of OB-GYN physicians, and the touching stories from their daily practice have moved many people.

The essay contest sparked a significant response among obstetrics and gynecology departments in hospitals across China. Submissions poured in from various provinces and municipalities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Guizhou, and Guangxi. The entries included stories about colleagues written by physicians still actively practicing, as well as accounts from grateful patients describing the attentive care they received from their doctors. From the numerous submissions, the judges selected the top 20 finalists, which were publicly displayed and opened for voting on the JiuYi160 platform. It is reported that the voting article on the “JiuYi160” WeChat official account garnered nearly 100,000 views in just one day, with extensive sharing and voting by citizens and healthcare professionals on WeChat Moments. Based on online public voting, the list of the “Top Ten Compassionate Doctors” was announced, with ten physicians, including Tong Jinyi and Yu Haiyun, honored with the title of “Top Ten Compassionate Doctors.”

Jiuyi160 will recommend the inspiring stories of its “Caring Doctors” to the production team of the hit Hunan TV series *Love in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department* for their consideration and potential adoption. Meanwhile, Jiuyi160 will also present trophies to the Top Ten Caring Doctors.

Launched in March, this initiative calls for submissions of inspiring stories about outstanding obstetricians and gynecologists from across China’s healthcare sector. It aims to draw greater public attention to the quiet dedication of these professionals and provide a platform for distinguished obstetricians and gynecologists to showcase their achievements.
