It is understood that Orange Doctor, an internet healthcare platform specializing in the cardiovascular and cerebrovascular fields, is affiliated with Guangzhou Juye Information Technology Co., Ltd. and was launched in June 2015. Since its launch, the platform has engaged more than 10,000 top-tier cardiovascular and cerebrovascular specialists from over 100 Grade III Class A hospitals across first-tier cities in China, including Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Shenzhen. It has provided services to one million patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, including in-person consultations, telephone consultations, text-and-image consultations, monthly subscription-based text-and-image consultations, hospital bed and surgical scheduling, and rehabilitation management.

In fact, the root cause of the booming development of mobile healthcare isMobile InternetThe internet has brought efficiency and convenience to medical services. Insurance is an indispensable and vital component of the healthcare service ecosystem. The integration of mobile health and insurance undoubtedly serves as a powerful external catalyst for enhancing the quality of medical care and ensuring rational control of healthcare costs.

Previously, pioneers had already made attempts in vertical fields such as chronic disease management and health consultation. Precedents include the collaborations between Chunyu Doctor and PICC, as well as the partnership among Tencent, ZhongAn Insurance, and DXY. Additionally, “Mami Zhidao” partnered with “Xiao Yusan” to launch “Mami Bao,” the first critical illness insurance product for children, marking the inaugural collaboration between the maternal and child health sector and commercial insurance.

It is reported that this collaboration will begin by focusing on physicians, providing medical liability protection services—specifically, medical malpractice insurance—to doctors on the Cheng Doctor and Yilianzhong platforms through Yi’an Insurance. In the initial phase, high-coverage “Licensed Physician Liability Insurance” will be offered to 2,000 contracted physicians on the platforms. Subsequently, both parties will extend medical malpractice insurance coverage to all contracted physicians on Cheng Doctor and general practitioners (primary care physicians) served by the Yilianzhong platform. This initiative not only effectively mitigates the risks associated with multi-site practice by providing physicians with comprehensive psychological and financial security, but also contributes positively to the healthy development of both multi-site practice and the mobile healthcare industry.

Following the implementation of medical liability insurance, the three collaborating parties will leverage Orange Doctor’s specialist resources and Yilianzhong Health Cloud Service Platform’s network of 20,000 general practitioners (primary care physicians). By capitalizing on Yilianzhong’s technological and operational strengths in medical insurance and healthcare, and combining these with YiAn Insurance’s expertise in internet-based insurance, they will jointly develop and launch China’s first managed health insurance service tailored to the needs of patients with specific cerebrovascular and cardiovascular conditions. The ultimate goal is to establish a comprehensive protection mechanism spanning from physicians to patients, providing reassuring coverage for both parties, optimizing clinical practice pathways, fostering positive doctor-patient interactions, enhancing the patient care experience, and effectively promoting patient recovery.

It is understood that Yilianzhong is the first listed enterprise in China focused on public livelihood information. With over a decade of technological advantages and business accumulation in the fields of medical insurance and healthcare, its health service platform boasts more than 20,000 primary care physicians. Building on this foundation, Yilianzhong has further integrated its architecture, processes, and functionalities to align with the development needs of the medical industry and health services sector. It has upgraded and developed new product lines for healthcare and other related areas, establishing a cloud-based medical health service platform that covers mobile healthcare, telemedicine, smart pharmaceuticals, and chronic disease management. By linking these services through medical payment solutions and placing patients at the core, Yilianzhong is progressively refining its health medical service system, which integrates medical care, pharmaceuticals, insurance, and health management.

Among the three collaborating parties, Yi'an Property Insurance Co., Ltd. is an internet-based insurance company approved for preparatory establishment by the China Insurance Regulatory Commission (CIRC) in June 2015, jointly initiated and established by seven companies including the listed company Silver Fox.
