The 2016 Fujian Medical Imaging Big Data Application Summit and the 6th Putian Health Information Technology Exchange Conference will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Putian Sandi on July 30–31. The conference is themed “Focusing on Health Big Data to Drive Future Healthcare Value.”

Guided by the Central Committee of the Chinese Peasants and Workers Democratic Party and the Primary Health Care Foundation, and led by the Fujian Provincial Health and Family Planning Commission and the Putian Municipal Health and Family Planning Commission, this conference is co-organized by the Fujian Health Information Association and the Putian Health Information Association. Local media outlets, as well as prominent platforms including Toutiao, VCBeat, China Digital Medicine, Putian Television, and Meizhou Daily, will provide real-time coverage of the event.
The conference is being held in Putian City, Fujian Province, as Putian serves as a hub for private hospitals nationwide, and Fujian is among the first provinces in China to pilot comprehensive healthcare reforms. The event is expected to have a broad impact, attracting national experts in healthcare informatics and representatives from renowned domestic and international enterprises. Attendees will engage in in-depth discussions on topics such as leveraging healthcare big data to support regional public health, the development of medical big data in hospital informatization, technical approaches and methodologies for medical imaging big data, and trends in the application of medical big data within the internet sector.
Experts from across China in the fields of government, industry, academia, research, and application will convene to discuss big data in health. In the era of “Internet Plus,” big data serves the development of healthcare, population resources, and the ecological environment by providing data support and acting as a “think tank.” This summit will provide answers to key questions, including how to resolve medical challenges, improve doctor-patient relationships, manage risks associated with medical disputes, advance hospital informatization, and apply big data technologies.

It is worth mentioning that Hangzhou Lianzhong Medical Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Lianzhong Medical”), following its listing on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ), has undertaken another significant initiative by participating for the first time as a key co-organizer in the Provincial Summit Forum on Healthcare Informatics Cooperation. This effort aims to support healthcare big data initiatives and strengthen the technical underpinnings of healthcare informatization.
This summit will bring together diverse stakeholders to advance the integration of information resources, gradually achieving interconnectivity, information sharing, and win-win cooperation among healthcare service systems. By leveraging the advantages of big data in healthcare, it aims to meet the public’s demand for health services.
