Aikang JunAn and WorldCare Launch International Telemedicine Platform to Deliver U.S. Top-Tier Medical Services to Chinese Patients

On September 4, 2016, iKang Anjun, the premium service brand under iKang Group (NASDAQ: KANG), a leading health management organization in China, joined forces with WorldCare (Beijing) Hospital Management Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “WorldCare”), the exclusive representative of WorldCare International—a global provider of second medical opinions—in the Greater China region, to officially launch the iKang Anjun–WorldCare International Telemedicine Platform. This initiative aims to enable more Chinese people to access top-tier medical resources across the United States.

Meanwhile, to meet clients’ demand for top-tier medical care, iKang Guoan regularly invites clinical experts from Harvard Medical School’s affiliated hospitals to provide specialized consultations and second opinions, while also establishing a green channel for clients seeking treatment at these institutions. By partnering with Vodicare, iKang Guoan will leverage its existing resources to integrate the expertise of over 20,000 specialists from seven world-leading medical centers within The WorldCare Consortium®—including Boston Children’s Hospital, Duke University Medical Center, Jefferson Health, Mayo Clinic, Mass General Brigham (comprising Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and McLean Hospital), Penn Medicine, and UCLA Health.
