In September 2016, the Dayi Medical Alliance Physician Group and 100BIOTECH signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing, which was reported by VCBeat (WeChat: vcbeat) at the earliest opportunity.

Professor Sun Hongtao, M.D., founder of Dajia Yilian, and Dr. Guo Lei, founder of Baituo Biology, have successfully joined forces. In the future, the two parties will collaborate to promote and popularize innovative concepts in medical research, thereby advancing medical scientific research and enhancing clinical technical capabilities.

As China’s first physician group operating within the public healthcare system, Dajia Yilian has partnered with Baituo Biology, the country’s first medical research consulting and technical services company. Grounded in national policy initiatives and the scientific research needs of clinical physicians, this collaboration leverages the new mindset of “Research 5.0” to explore novel approaches in medical research, providing clinicians with superior, more convenient, and innovative scientific research support in medicine and medical technology.

Since its establishment, the Dajia Yilian Physician Group has attracted over 1,000 physicians at the associate chief level and above from both domestic and international regions. All initiatives—from implementing national policies on the decentralization of high-quality medical resources, supporting grassroots healthcare through public welfare diagnosis, treatment, and training, assisting village doctors in establishing remote consultation systems, to facilitating multi-site practice for physicians, co-developing outpatient clinics, and providing support for hospital departments—have been carried out in alignment with national healthcare reform policies. This collaboration with Baituo Bio aims to enhance clinical physicians’ capabilities in medical research, facilitate scientific exploration and innovation among doctors, thereby advancing progress in medical research and safeguarding public health.

Baitai Biologics is the first company in China to provide medical research consulting and technical services to clinicians. The innovative and highly efficient research model—Research 5.0, proposed by its founder, Dr. Guo Lei, has garnered attention and recognition from numerous prominent Chinese and international scientific leaders, including Harald zur Hausen, the 2008 Nobel Laureate in Physiology or Medicine; Craig Mello, the 2006 Nobel Laureate in Physiology or Medicine; Sheldon Glashow, the 1979 Nobel Laureate in Physics; Academician Liu Xinyuan of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; and Academician Zhan Qimin of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.

“Research 5.0,” a novel research paradigm, has helped over 5,000 clinicians overcome scientific challenges, making medical research more accessible and earning widespread recognition from physicians. The collaboration between Baiti Bio and Dajia Yilian will provide high-quality medical research consulting and technical services to numerous physicians in China, accelerating innovation and progress in medical research and promoting medical scientific advancement in the era of big data.
