The competition specially invited Dr. Qi Zuoliang, President of the Plastic Surgery Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and Professor Luan Jie to serve as Distinguished Judges and Chairmen of the Jury Panel. The judging panel comprised leading plastic surgeons from across China, including Wei Min, Mu Xiongzheng, Yi Chenggang, Liu Linbo, Wang Xiaojun (Beijing), Bi Hongsen (Beijing), Yang Rongya, and Li Wenzhi.

The competition features five major categories: laser treatments, facial fillers, eye procedures, nasal procedures, and prosthetic breast augmentation. After nearly three months of rigorous preliminary and semi-final rounds, more than 1,000 physicians registered. Following intense competition, 25 outstanding young doctors were selected to advance to the final round for the ultimate showdown.

At the event, Liu Di, Founder and CEO of Gengmei APP, and Zhou Mei, Chairman of Alma Lasers, delivered keynote speeches.

Gengmei CEO Liu Di: Witnessing the Future, Enabling Young Doctors to Establish Their Own “Practice” Early On

As a rising force in the medical aesthetics industry, at Gengmei APP’s Series C financing press conference this August, founder Liu Di announced his “100 Physician IP Plan” to global peers in the field: Gengmei will leverage its robust platform traffic and user resources to help over one hundred outstanding physicians build their personal physician brand IPs through mobile internet solutions.

In the context of emerging consumer behaviors and the internet-driven landscape, the future medical aesthetics industry will inevitably trend toward transparency in information, pricing, quality, and services. At the core of this industry—the individual physician—will become paramount, functioning as an intellectual property (IP) brand. Each such IP serves as a unique identifier for the physician within both the professional community and the perception of aesthetic seekers.

Among physicians, young and middle-aged doctors serve as the backbone of the industry. However, due to the unique nature of the healthcare sector and insufficient awareness of self-promotion, many outstanding young and middle-aged physicians remain relatively unknown. As a key upstream enterprise in the medical aesthetics supply chain, and as a comprehensive platform for content, information, and financial transactions, Alma Lasers and Gengmei are committed to helping young physicians build their personal brands and promote positive values within the medical aesthetics field. Leveraging this competition, they aim to create a stage for young physicians to showcase their skills and compete, thereby supporting them in establishing strong personal brands.

For the 15 young doctors who ultimately won the awards, Gengmei will allocate resources worth over RMB 10 million to help them build their personal brands, enabling them to become renowned aesthetic medicine specialists recognized by both more beauty seekers and the industry at an earlier stage.
