TengAI Doctor Launches Targeted Free Consultation Feature for Hospitals and Institutions via Official WeChat Accounts

In August this year, Tengai Doctor officially launched the first batch of beta testing for paid consultations on its WeChat Official Account. By early December, nearly 20 physician teams had participated in the beta test, with some teams achieving daily consultation revenues exceeding RMB 20,000 and a repurchase rate of 40%.

Unlike individual physicians and medical teams, hospital and departmental official accounts are generally not suitable for offering paid consultation services, particularly in public hospitals. However, it is evident that in many scenarios, patients have a need to consult with specific doctors, such as for preoperative consultations, postoperative rehabilitation, and follow-up visits. Meanwhile, physicians also wish to enable their existing patients to consult them directly. In these scenarios, consultations are typically provided free of charge. To meet these needs, the recently updated Tengai Doctor version 1.9.0 will introduce functionality supporting this feature, allowing patients to consult their designated physicians directly at no cost.

Compared with paid consultations, free consultations are much simpler to configure, eliminating the need for WeChat Pay-related operations. The workflow remains similar: patients locate a physician on the team’s homepage, click through to the physician’s personal profile, and submit a consultation request directly; the physician then responds via the Tengai Doctor App.

Currently, the latest version of Teng Ai Doctor, featuring precise consultation capabilities, is available for download on both the App Store and Android app markets. Precise ConsultationApplications are now officially open. Hospitals, departments, and teams with relevant needs are welcome to apply. To apply, simply send the keyword “Free Consultation” to the Tengai Doctor WeChat Official Account (tengai2016), and a staff member will contact the physician.
