On December 16, Ping An Good Doctor, China’s largest O2O mobile healthcare service platform, and Maxim Healthcare Group Limited (hereinafter referred to as “Maxim Healthcare”), a leading private integrated healthcare services operator in Hong Kong, jointly announced the establishment of a joint venture. The venture has opened its first flagship clinic positioned for comprehensive medical services, the “Shanghai Maxim Clinic,” in Huangpu District, Shanghai.

As Max Healthcare’s first flagship integrated medical center in Shanghai, “Shanghai Max Healthcare Outpatient Clinic” is located in the core business district of Huangpu District. Covering an area of over 1,000 square meters, it features multiple departments including General Practice, Gynecology, Pediatrics, Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine, Dentistry, Internal Medicine/Surgery, and Psychological Counseling. Its professional medical team comprises numerous experienced doctors and senior nurses from both China and abroad.

The outpatient department has introduced Max Healthcare’s Hong Kong-based, family doctor-centric professional medical management model, while leveraging Ping An Good Doctor’s expertise in internet healthcare services. General practitioners and specialists provide both on-site and remote professional consultations, effectively delivering healthcare services tailored to patients’ needs. Upholding Max Healthcare’s service philosophy that emphasizes medical quality and process standardization, the outpatient department will actively implement and practice standardized medical diagnostic and treatment protocols in its service delivery.

Wang Tao, Chairman and CEO of Ping An Good Doctor, stated, “As a leading one-stop, full-process O2O health management and medical service platform in China, Ping An Good Doctor has reached 120 million registered users. This collaboration with Wiser Health will help users establish a closed-loop healthcare service integrating offline consultations and insurance payments. Leveraging our team of full-time family doctors and a standardized online auxiliary diagnostic system, we will provide users with preventive care and triage/referral services, referring them to Wiser Health’s specialist integrated medical centers in Hong Kong for further examination and treatment when necessary.”

Wang Tao revealed that medical experts from Ping An Good Doctor’s full-time medical team will be scheduled on a regular basis to see patients at Well Health clinics, providing a one-stop healthcare solution that spans online consultations, in-person visits, and expedited referral services.

Mr. Chan Kin Ping, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Perfect Medical Health Care Limited, stated: “The opening of ‘Shanghai Perfect Medical Clinic’ marks a significant milestone in the Group’s expansion into the mainland China market. The private healthcare services industry in mainland China has experienced rapid growth in recent years. Our collaboration with Ping An Good Doctor will further enable the Group to capitalize on the potential opportunities arising from the rapid growth of the healthcare services sector.”

"We are confident that, leveraging the Group’s long-standing operational history and strong brand reputation, we will be able to establish a solid foundation for the Group in the mainland China market and inject new momentum into business growth. Looking ahead, Max Healthcare aims to expand into the mainland market in a measured and orderly manner by applying the experience and expertise gained from managing and operating its Shanghai medical center, and to establish additional integrated medical centers in other first-tier cities on the mainland, thereby capitalizing on the substantial business opportunities available in China."
