“The difference between Quiknos and other health management companies is that we are a B2B company; we only”Collect data from end-users who utilize various medical hardware devices, without marketing or selling pharmaceuticals to these end-users.“Through data analysis and training, we ultimately leverage artificial intelligence to achieve health management.” Cheng Chen, founder of Quiknos Technology, emphasized the uniqueness of “Quiknos Technology” in an interview with VCBeat.

Yi Jian Technology was established in 2014, has been dedicated to the research, development, and promotion of novel medical diagnostic technologies, integrating them with emerging technologies such as mobile internet, the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing, and big data analytics to provide users with personalized health management services.

The main software products currently launched include the home health management app “Yijian Health”; the private cloud platform solution for the healthcare industry, “Yijian Cloud”; and the cloud computing platform based on big data and machine learning, “Yijian Intelligence.”A smart hardware product, the “Health All-in-One Machine,” capable of simultaneously detecting multiple physiological and biochemical parameters, will also be launched in the future.

The company was founded by Cheng Chen, Jia Xue’en, and Wang Congzhi. Cheng Chen holds a master’s degree from Chiba University of Science and previously served as Head of Development at AXSEED Co., Ltd. in Japan, bringing extensive experience in cloud computing and cloud platform development.

Dr. Xue’en Jia is a tenured researcher in the Department of Physics at Umeå University, Sweden, with over a decade of research experience in analytical testing, biosensing, and biochemical medicine. Dr. Congzhi Wang is an associate researcher at the Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, possessing extensive research expertise in wearable devices, mobile healthcare, and personal health management. Leveraging their respective strengths, the three founders jointly established “Quiknos Technology.”

Compatible with over 95% of hardware devices

Currently, manufacturers of smart home medical hardware devices in the market generally need to develop software compatible with their hardware to facilitate user data recording and access to relevant information. Well-established hardware manufacturers typically set up their own software development departments, while smaller hardware vendors tend to outsource this function to software companies. To ensure the proper operation of the software and collect user data, hardware companies incur monthly costs ranging from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of yuan.

The launch of “Yi Jian Health” aims to reduce hardware manufacturers’ costs to just a few thousand or even a few hundred yuan per month, while still allowing them to access user data through legitimate channels. Furthermore, Yi Jian employs 256-bit encryption technology to ensure the security of both user and manufacturer data, even as costs are lowered.

“Yi Jian Health APP” features compatibility with a vast array of hardware, intelligent data reading, and big-data health analytics. It is dedicated to compiling and analyzing test results for multiple user health indicators, providing professional health status analysis reports and consultation services.

“Yi Jian Health” features the following outstanding characteristics: (1) It is compatible with a variety of commonly used home medical devices, such as blood pressure monitors, pulse oximeters, and blood glucose meters, and provides intelligent analysis of test results; (2) It enables the detection and management of multiple physiological and biochemical parameters, with each parameter’s testing supported by hardware devices from multiple manufacturers.

(3) Intelligently reads test data via multiple methods, including Bluetooth transmission, image recognition, voice recognition, and manual input; (4) Curates daily health and medical consultation recommendations for users; (5) Regularly customizes specialized topics to address various health concerns; (6) Features multi-user intelligent management capabilities, facilitating comprehensive monitoring and management of the health status of users and their families.

Cheng Chen told reporters that the Yijian Health 2.0 version will be launched around the Spring Festival, at which time it will be compatible with more than 95% of hardware devices on the market.

“Yijian Technology” has partnered with industry-leading hardware companies such as “Sinocare,” “Xiamen Lingtuo Technology,” and “Yida Medical,” and is currently in negotiations with emerging internet healthcare enterprises like “Kangyun Interconnect” to establish strategic alliances. In the future, it will launch its self-developed “Multifunctional Integrated Analyzer,” enabling users to more conveniently monitor and manage multiple physiological and biochemical parameters.

"Make Enterprises Smarter and More Convenient to Manage and Operate"

“Yi Jian Yun” primarily provides cloud-based office, storage, and computing services to relevant government agencies, enterprises, public institutions, and healthcare organizations, enabling smarter and more convenient management and operations.

As a key revenue source for “Yi Jian,” the cloud office capabilities of “Yi Jian Cloud” migrate enterprise-required service and office software to the cloud. It supports second-level scaling to 1,000 container instances, effortlessly handling high concurrency; provides unified monitoring of application and cluster resource utilization; simplifies operations and maintenance management; and automatically migrates application instances from faulty servers.

Meanwhile, the cloud storage feature provides enterprise-grade, multi-layered security protection and multi-user resource isolation mechanisms; it supports cross-region replication and off-site disaster recovery, and offers various authentication and authorization mechanisms, as well as features such as whitelisting, hotlink protection, and primary/sub-account management.

Cloud computing services leverage the powerful computational capabilities provided by HPC to enable customers to build their own computing systems tailored to various high-performance computing scenarios, meeting diverse enterprise needs ranging from drug analysis, protein simulation, dynamic reaction modeling, and computational chemistry to multi-scale dynamics simulations.

Building Multi-Dimensional Health Solutions

Building on the “Yi Jian Health APP” and “Yi Jian Cloud” services, Yi Jian Technology can also collect and integrate users’ big health data, analyze and mine it, to form its proprietary Yi Jian Big Data.

Establish personal and family health records for users, collect relevant data on their home environment, dietary habits, daily routines, and exercise patterns, and deliver multi-dimensional, high-precision, personalized health assessments to provide tailored health solutions for diverse populations.

For example, we all know that calorie intake affects the effectiveness of weight loss. Typically, the calorie content of a bowl of rice is fixed,However, we often overlook the impact of food temperature on the composition of the food itself., for example, the chain structure of starch at different temperatures can significantly affect the efficiency of starch absorption in the human body. This variation may exceed 50%.

Meanwhile, in its B2B operations, it intelligently analyzes user needs to match them with the most suitable health management products, enabling precision sales and attentive service. It also provides consulting services to governments, medical testing institutions, and insurance companies, assisting them in making decisions on critical issues such as risk control for major diseases and insurance cost containment.

B2B Business Model

According to Cheng Chen, unlike other health management companies, “Yi Jian” is a B2B company that only collects data from C-end users who use various medical hardware devices. It does not sell drugs to C-end users. The purpose is very simple: to simplify the user experience and improve compliance.

Since the app of “Quiknos Technology” can connect to most hardware devices on the market and record data from various devices, in the near future,“Quiknos Technology” aims to establish a data alliance, in which hardware device manufacturers share data and data analysis results with “Quiknos Technology.”

In this process, enterprises reduce their software operational costs and gain access to analytical insights from “Yi Jian.” Without ever compromising user privacy, “Yi Jian” aggregates additional personal data to enhance its artificial intelligence system. This creates a win-win model.
