Zhitong Finance APP News: Harbour BioMed -B (02142) announced that the company will establish a multi-level, long-term comprehensive strategic partnership with BioMap. The two parties will engage in all-around cooperation centered on AI-driven discovery and development of complex macromolecular drugs, aiming to systematically address key R&D bottlenecks in next-generation innovative therapies and jointly build an AI-driven R&D ecosystem with global leading competitiveness.

Pursuant to the strategic cooperation framework, the Company and BioMap will jointly establish a next-generation AI-driven pipeline R&D company targeting the global market—MegaStream TechBio (MegaStream). MegaStream will integrate “exclusive big data × proprietary large models × extensive innovative pipeline portfolios” and build an AI R&D engine centered on an advanced, integrated intelligent dry-wet closed-loop experimental discovery platform, as well as personalized, multimodal, multi-attribute generative large models. MegaStream will focus on major unmet clinical needs in cardiovascular diseases, renal disorders, oncology, and anti-aging, establishing First-in-Class (FIC) and Best-in-Class (BIC) assets as its core R&D benchmarks.

As the lead initiator, the Company will grant MegaStream access to its globally exclusive fully human antibody platform, extensive target biology expertise, and global clinical development capabilities. BioMap will serve as a co-initiator, providing foundational AI technology empowerment, model engineering support, and intelligent R&D capabilities to accelerate the Company’s pipeline development. The initial pipeline of MegaStream is expected to comprise both AI-driven drug discovery projects from prior collaborations between the two parties and newly initiated AI-native pipeline projects. In accordance with industry standards, the initiating parties will be entitled to potential upfront payments, success-based milestone payments, and royalty sharing. Furthermore, the core management team of MegaStream is expected to consist of senior executives from multinational biopharmaceutical companies and leading experts in the field of artificial intelligence, with relevant personnel currently being onboarded.
