Kangkang Blood Pressure and Amcare Women & Children's Healthcare Enter Strategic Partnership to Enhance Hypertension Management Services

On March 1, 2017, Mr. Zeng Mingfa, Chairman of Kangkang Blood Pressure, and Ms. Yu Ying, CEO of Amcare Integrated Outpatient Center, signed a strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of their respective companies. Kangkang Blood Pressure will join hands with Amcare to jointly create high-quality home blood pressure management medical services.

Amcare Integrated Outpatient Center is another strategic priority for the Amcare Group following its success in the obstetrics, gynecology, and pediatrics market. Co-founded by Amcare and Dr. Yu Ying, renowned as the “Superman of Emergency Medicine,” the center is staffed by a team of experienced physicians and skilled nursing professionals, dedicated to providing high-quality medical services to Chinese families.

As a national high-tech enterprise and a joint applicant and undertaking entity for key special projects under China’s 13th Five-Year Plan, Kangkang Blood Pressure is a pioneer in implementing chronic hypertension management via internet technologies in China. Targeting all levels and stakeholders within the healthcare service system for chronic hypertension, it provides productized solutions for chronic hypertension management integrating “hardware + software + services,” thereby establishing an online-offline closed-loop ecosystem for chronic hypertension management.

As one of the three core functional centers of Kangkang Blood Pressure, the Kangkang Remote Blood Pressure Monitoring and Big Data Processing Center was established in collaboration with the Chinese Hypertension League to serve as a hub for out-of-hospital blood pressure data monitoring, processing, and analysis. This center integrates capabilities for real-time blood pressure data monitoring, single-measurement blood pressure data analysis, and ambulatory blood pressure data analysis. It provides monitoring and data services to medical institutions at all levels, health management organizations, and individual users. The center is operated by a multidisciplinary team comprising internet technology experts, data scientists, and cardiology specialists, who are responsible for blood pressure data monitoring, processing, and the interpretation of blood pressure data reports.

This collaboration between Kangkang Blood Pressure and Amcare represents another significant step toward delivering high-quality blood pressure management services, following the launch of hypertension management services in partnership with Ali Health. The Kangkang Remote Blood Pressure Monitoring and Big Data Processing Center will integrate its capabilities with Amcare’s expert resources and align with its customer base to provide home-based blood pressure management medical services for patients with gestational hypertension, secondary hypertension, masked hypertension, and other related conditions.

Users undergo continuous blood pressure monitoring in a home setting using intelligent ambulatory blood pressure monitoring devices. The data is collected, processed, and interpreted by the Kangkang Remote Blood Pressure Monitoring and Big Data Processing Center along with its team of experts, and ultimately transmitted to specialists at the Amcare General Outpatient Center. Based on the ambulatory blood pressure reports, these specialists can comprehensively assess the user’s blood pressure control levels and fluctuation patterns, promptly adjust medication regimens and non-pharmacological interventions, and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual.

Prior to the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement between the two parties, the aforementioned model had already entered a trial operation phase, with dozens of Amcare users having experienced the complete workflow of this product. This collaboration will more comprehensively center on user needs, deeply explore the value of product services, and deliver hypertension chronic disease management services with a human touch. In addition to the above-mentioned cooperation, Kangkang Blood Pressure will collaborate with Amcare on research across multiple scenarios. Furthermore, “Hypertension Steward,” a premium self-media matrix brand under Kangkang Blood Pressure, will engage in in-depth cooperation with Amcare based on health education content.
