China's First Private Cardiac Rehabilitation Clinic Unveiled After Two-Year Development, Hailed as a Medical Miracle

On the morning of April 8, 2017, the unveiling ceremony for Beijing Ruihua Xinkang Clinic and Beijing Ruihua Cardiac Rehabilitation Research Center was successfully held. The event was hosted by Dr. Zhang Haibo, Deputy Director of the Heart Transplantation Center at Beijing Anzhen Hospital, Capital Medical University. Mr. Ouyang Xiangyu, Managing Director of Legend Holdings’ Junlian Capital and Head of Healthcare Investments; Mr. Wu Jixiang, former President of Beijing Tongren Hospital; and Mr. Wang Xiangqun, Party Secretary of Peking University Sixth Hospital, all attended the ceremony and delivered congratulatory remarks.

At the unveiling ceremony, both “Beijing Ruihua Cardiac Rehabilitation Clinic” and “Beijing Ruihua Cardiac Rehabilitation Research Center” were officially inaugurated. The latter serves as the teaching and research arm established by Ruihua Cardiac Rehabilitation Clinic. The Center introduces and assimilates advanced international concepts and medical technologies, integrates them with China’s national conditions and ethnic characteristics, researches and develops cardiac rehabilitation techniques tailored specifically for the Chinese population, and establishes China’s own cardiac rehabilitation standards based on data analysis. In terms of software, it took nearly two years to customize and develop the country’s first personal cardiac rehabilitation management system (including a mobile app) and the cardiac rehabilitation hospital management system.

At the event, attendees congratulated Ruihua Xinkang on its rapid establishment, hailing it as a miracle in the field of cardiac rehabilitation. They noted that it took only two years to build a standalone private medical facility specializing in cardiac rehabilitation, and expressed high expectations for the future of the clinic and research center.

Following the ceremony, the academic activities officially commenced. The Ruihua Cardiac Rehabilitation Center organized an event titled “Introduction to and Tour of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Management Process.” Led by Zhang Xiaomei, a specially appointed nursing consultant from Beijing Anzhen Hospital, participants gained a comprehensive understanding of the center’s medical management protocols, outpatient cardiac rehabilitation, inpatient cardiac rehabilitation workflows, as well as an overview of the clinic’s environment and facilities. The session included guided group tours for detailed observation and learning.
