As can be seen from the announcement released by Yilianzhong, a medical informatics enterprise, on April 27, the proposed name of the company to be established is:China Health and Medical Big Data Co., Ltd.(subject to the name approved by the industrial and commercial registration authorities, hereinafter referred to as the “Healthcare Big Data Company”),Its registered capital is RMB 5 billion.


According to VCBeat, the establishment of this company is dedicated to implementing the spirit of State Council Document No. 47, “Guiding Opinions on Promoting and Standardizing the Application and Development of Health and Medical Big Data.” It aims to make new contributions by creating a robust platform for undertaking the national pilot tasks of building National Health and Medical Big Data Centers and Industrial Parks, thereby achieving the goals of enhancing public sense of gain, strengthening new drivers for healthcare reform, fostering new economic momentum, and promoting the development of the health industry.

This committee is responsible for forming and overseeing two major corporate groups—“China Health and Medical Big Data Industry Development Co., Ltd.” and “China Health and Medical Big Data Co., Ltd.”—to ensure that these groups fulfill their national missions, implement national pilot projects, and promote the application and development of health and medical big data in China.


Jin Xiaotao required that, after the establishment of “China Health and Medical Big Data Co., Ltd.,” the company should define work tasks and timelines in accordance with the overall requirements of the “1+7+X” national pilot program, take the lead in negotiating and signing agreements with Xiamen and other cities among the first batch of pilot cities, promote the early commencement and effectiveness of national pilot projects, provide replicable and scalable experiences and models for the rest of China, and thereby accelerate the development of the health industry into a key pillar of the national economy.
