InnoStar Protechting 2017 Global Innovation Summit and Startup Competition Prospectus

The “InnoStar” Global Innovation Conference and Startup Competition is a global startup competition hosted by Fosun Tonghao Capital. In 2017, Tonghao Capital partnered with Fosun’s insurance sector to host the “InnoStar·Protechting” Global Innovation Conference and Startup Competition, focusing on the fields of general health and internet financial insurance. The finals are scheduled to take place in September–October 2017, comprising two main segments: the Global Startup Competition and the Youth Innovation Roundtable Forum.

The “Star Future. Protecting” Global Entrepreneurship Conference focuses on early-stage and growth-stage projects in the big health and internet finance & insurance sectors, highlights global innovation and entrepreneurship trends, gathers industry and entrepreneurial elites, and builds a landmark global brand for innovation and entrepreneurship. The event will be attended by 500+ entrepreneurs, 100+ mainstream media outlets, 50+ investment institutions, 30+ industry luminaries, and 20+ leaders from the entrepreneurial community.

Centered on the theme “Navigating the Capital Winter: From Big Health to Big Finance (Tentative),” the forum invites distinguished guests such as Guo Guangchang, Chairman of Fosun Group; Chen Qiyu, President of Fosun Group and Chairman of Fosun Pharma; and economist Xu Xiaonian, among others, to engage in dynamic discussions. The event aims to establish the “Star Future·Protechting” innovation platform as China’s most influential gathering for business leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs.

Fosun Tonghao focuses on project investments in the early and growth stages, covering the fields of general health and high-tech industries. It primarily participates in Angel, Series A, and Series B rounds, with follow-on investments in Series C and beyond considered on a case-by-case basis. The investment amount for a single project ranges from several million to tens of millions of RMB. Fosun’s insurance business is deployed across China and globally, establishing a comprehensive insurance platform centered on Greater China, Europe, and the Middle East, supported by international operations. Moving forward, it will significantly increase its development efforts, adhering to the Group’s “Insurance + Investment” dual-wheel drive strategy.

Entrepreneurial teams participating in the competition must ensure that the products, technologies, and related patents of their projects belong to the team and are free from any intellectual property disputes with other enterprises.
