For primary care physicians in rural areas, the majority of patients are the elderly and children. Therefore, providing training focused on the diseases and conditions prevalent in these two groups may be the most effective approach to enhancing their clinical competence.

From June 5 to June 7, Mingyi Zhonghe Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. partnered with Capital Medical Huimin Traditional Chinese Medicine Children's Hospital in Beijing to host the first session of the “Practical Training and Certification in Traditional Chinese Medicine Pediatrics” course on external therapy techniques.ThisThe participants of this training were primarily from Shandong, Hebei, Henan, and other regions, mostly from Yidebang ((Mingyi Zhonghe's Cloud SaaS Platform)a loyal user.

The objective of Mingyi Zhonghe’s training program is to help Western medicine practitioners rapidly transition to mastering Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) diagnostic and treatment methods, and to assist TCM practitioners in quickly developing into experts with specialized technical therapies.

Why Traditional Chinese Medicine Pediatrics?

Amidst the restrictions on intravenous infusions in individual clinics and the state’s vigorous promotion of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), primary care clinics predominantly practicing Western medicine are facing increasing operational difficulties. Therefore, this initiative specifically targets pediatric TCM.

Traditional Chinese Pediatrics (TCP) encapsulates the rich experience of the Chinese nation in child-rearing and disease prevention and treatment accumulated over thousands of years. It demonstrates significant efficacy in treating common pediatric conditions as well as complex and refractory diseases, thereby holding substantial market potential at the primary care level. However, most primary healthcare institutions remain weak in their professional capacity for TCP, and the transition from Western medicine to Traditional Chinese Medicine continues to face numerous challenges.

The instructors for this session include She Jilin, Chief Physician and Master’s Supervisor in the Department of Pediatrics at Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Capital Medical University; Shi Xue, Chief Physician in the Department of Pediatrics at Beijing Children’s Hospital, Capital Medical University, and Distinguished Expert at Shoudu Medical Huimin TCM Children’s Hospital; Yan Xiaoqing, Distinguished Expert at Shoudu Medical Huimin TCM Children’s Hospital; and Hou Ying, Director of the Pharmacy Department at Shoudu Medical Huimin TCM Children’s Hospital. They aim to share their expertise with primary-care physicians.

The Four Major Advantages of the Yidebang Platform

Yidebang Clinic Ecosystem Service Cloud SaaS Platform features four core modules—“Cloud Clinic,” “Cloud Pharmacy,” “Cloud Medical Care,” and “Cloud Education”—to comprehensively support primary care clinics, making it the most functionally comprehensive Internet-plus-primary healthcare platform currently available.

What do these four major sectors include?

1. Cloud Clinic:Enhance the daily management capabilities of village doctors. Through cloud-based integration (iHIS + iERP + iCRM), provide modules for electronic prescriptions, electronic medical records, patient management, and financial management, while also offering cloud-based solutions for interfacing with health insurance systems to enable real-time reimbursement and settlement.

2. Cloud Pharmacy:Leveraging extensive regional coverage and a vast base of end users, we collaborate with regional partners to integrate pharmaceutical distribution channels, establish cloud-based pharmacies, and connect with pharmaceutical manufacturers. This approach optimizes the drug portfolio at the primary care level, providing a one-stop solution to address challenges such as high procurement costs and limited drug variety in primary healthcare institutions.

3. Cloud Healthcare:Aiming to establish specialized departments with distinctive features, this integrated cloud healthcare model helps clinics connect with high-end professional hospitals and expert physicians, forming a consortium that enables consultation and referral services, vertical coordination, information sharing, and operational synergy, thereby building the brand and reputation of primary care institutions within their local communities.

4. Cloud Education:Help clinics enhance their diagnostic and treatment capabilities by providing rural doctors with a remote medical education platform to continuously improve clinical competence. Meanwhile, leverage integrated intelligent clinical decision support systems and knowledge bases to standardize care pathways and reduce misdiagnosis rates.

The Yidebang Clinic Ecosystem Service Cloud SaaS Platform will effectively address the issues of “technical deficiencies” and “knowledge gaps” among primary care physicians.

A Four-Part Training Series for Primary Care Physicians

This training session on pediatric Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is part of the “Cloud Education” module. Adhering to the principles of operational simplicity and live demonstration by experts, the instructors provided hands-on guidance to each participant, correcting errors in their techniques. The entire process consists of four steps:

Step 1 is through technical training: Select external treatment techniques that are highly practical, easy to implement, and suitable for primary care settings, and conduct training on them;

Step Two: Apprenticeship Learning: After establishing a solid foundation, one may engage in apprenticeship under experienced mentors to encounter a wider variety of cases and accumulate greater clinical experience through hospital-based practice;

Step 3: Remote Expert Support: Leverage internet technology to connect primary care terminals with professional medical resources; after in-person training, learners can continue advanced studies remotely with experts;

Step 4: Enhance the Clinic’s Brand: By leveraging various promotional channels, we help clinics enhance their brand and address the issue of “low visibility.”

Each training program is custom-designed for primary care physicians and consists of three phases. Starting from scratch, the curriculum progresses from basic to advanced levels, covering topics such as external therapeutic techniques, diagnosis and treatment of common diseases, and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) theory. The program adopts a mentorship model featuring instruction by renowned experts and hands-on apprenticeship, enabling participants to quickly master skills that can be immediately applied in daily clinical practice.
