On December 16, 2017, B-Soft Co., Ltd. (SZ.300451, hereinafter referred to as “B-Soft”) and Beijing Rongzhilian Technology Co., Ltd. (SZ.002642, hereinafter referred to as “Rongzhilian”) signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Hangzhou. Ge Hang, Chairman of B-Soft; Zhang Lvzheng, General Manager of B-Soft; Zhang Tong, President of Rongzhilian; and other executives attended the signing ceremony. Under this collaboration, the two parties will establish an industry alliance under government guidance to integrate genomic databases into the electronic health records (EHRs) of 100 million residents across China, thereby achieving Level 7+ standards for resident EHRs.

B-Soft is a well-known provider and operator of healthcare information technology services in China. With robust technical capabilities and extensive implementation experience in the field of healthcare IT infrastructure, the company serves over 7,000 clients across nearly 260 regions nationwide and has assisted government agencies in establishing more than 200 million electronic health records for residents.

Rongzhi United is a leading domestic industry data platform company, with over a decade of experience bridging the fields of life sciences and information sciences. The biological data platform developed by Rongzhi United is the most advanced in China, specifically designed for genomic research. Based on this platform, the Rongzhi United BioCloud has been deployed in Beijing, Tianjin, Nanjing, and California, USA, gradually fostering a new industrial ecosystem for genomic research and applications.

The signing of this strategic cooperation agreement marks a deep integration of business operations between the two parties. Leveraging their past successful experiences and technological advantages, they will jointly commit to product innovation and model transformation in medical services and health management within new technology scenarios, actively contributing to national public health and human well-being.

The first joint project will be established in Chalu Town, Ninghai County, Zhejiang Province (also known as the “Ninghai Ge Hong Wellness Town”). The project plans to complete the basic construction and commence operations of the “Ge Family Gene Bank” within three years, marking it as China’s first family gene bank initiative. The project has received strong support from the Ninghai County Health and Family Planning Commission and the People’s Government of Chalu Town, Ninghai County. Distinguished experts, including Professor Chen Zugeng, a genomics specialist, and Zheng Houfeng, a genetics expert, have been invited to provide guidance on the development of the gene bank.

The first phase of the project will involve the construction of “one center, two repositories, and two platforms,” namely: a Resident Health Data Center, a Gene Sample Repository, a Genetic Information Repository, a DNA Sequencing Platform, and a Bio-omics Big Data Analytics and Application Platform. The initial cohort will include 1,000 local descendants of the Ge family participating in gene sequencing. The resulting analytical data will provide support for the prevention, environmental intervention, early diagnosis, and treatment of major diseases. In the future, the collaborating parties plan to jointly establish a fund and an industrial platform, focusing on incubating, introducing, and nurturing initiatives in areas such as preventive healthcare (“treating potential diseases”), cloud health, virtual reality (VR), and medical consortia, thereby better facilitating the development of the health industry in the Ge Hong Wellness Town.

According to Ge Hang, Chairman of B-Soft, “Health big data is a fundamental strategic resource for the nation,”Encompassing the entire human life cycle, it represents the convergence and aggregation of multi-dimensional data, including public health data, clinical data, genomics data, and Internet of Things (IoT) data, all related to individual health. In the past, big health data primarily remained at the stage of clinical data collection; personal electronic health records were of low quality, failing to achieve “interconnectivity, interoperability, mutual recognition, and interaction,” thereby unable to provide residents with precise and personalized health services. “Ge ShiGene BankConstruction"Upon completion, it will significantly expand the coverage of local residents' health big data on the foundation of 'Healthy Ninghai,' enabling health services to be truly tailored to individual needs."

Building on the foundation of the Ge氏 Gene Bank, the collaborative model between Chuangye Software and Rongzhilian will be extended to more service regions of Chuangye Software in the future, covering over 100 million Chinese residents. The construction, implementation, and operation of this project will provide strong support for achieving the “Healthy China” strategy, which aims to ensure universal health and comprehensive well-being.
