The 4th International Smart Healthcare Innovation Forum and the Call for Entries for the eHealthcare Innovation Awards Are Now Open!
The Report to the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China explicitly stated that implementing the Healthy China Strategy serves as the guiding framework for health and hygiene work in the new era, emphasizing the need to improve national health policies and provide comprehensive health services to the public. With the advancement of comprehensive reforms in public hospitals, the development of medical consortiums, and strengthened telemedicine collaboration, China’s healthcare system reform has achieved significant phased results. Meanwhile, high-frequency terms such as artificial intelligence, big data, third-party imaging centers, physician groups, and multi-site practice have fundamentally transformed traditional healthcare, enabling the broader population to benefit from the dividends of healthcare reform.
Against this backdrop, the “4th International Smart Healthcare Innovation Forum & eHealthcare Innovation Awards Ceremony,” jointly organized by Shanghai VCI Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., the Construction and Management Office of Wuhan National Bio-industry Base, and the Biopharmaceutical Industry Association of Wuhan East Lake National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone, will be grandly held at the Wuhan Optics Valley Science and Technology Convention and Exhibition Center on May 26–27, 2018. As an important component of the 3rd “China Optics Valley” International Bio-health Industry Expo, this forum will continue the consistent tradition of high specifications, high quality, and strong reputation established in previous editions. Under the theme “Cooperation and Innovation in the Era of Medical Consortia,” the event will bring together over 700 senior representatives from government bodies, industry associations, hospitals, mobile internet healthcare companies, pharmaceutical enterprises, medical device manufacturers, artificial intelligence firms, law firms, and investment institutions. Participants will engage in discussions and exchanges on hot topics such as innovative models of medical consortia, telemedicine and medical imaging, health management and big data, and artificial intelligence. Ranging from sharing innovative case studies to thematic brainstorming sessions, and covering hospital management, technological innovation, and industrial investment, the forum will enable attendees to gain a multi-dimensional understanding of policy changes driven by healthcare reform and advances in science and technology.
The “eHealthcare Innovation Awards” aim to recognize and reward hospitals, hospital directors, and physicians who drive innovation and change, as well as benchmark enterprises in smart healthcare and their innovative products and solutions. With comprehensive coverage by more than 80 media outlets both in China and abroad, the eHealthcare Innovation Awards, now in its third edition, will continue to promote innovation and progress in the healthcare industry.
The selection process for the 4th eHealthcare Smart Innovation Awards was officially launched on December 1, 2017. The final results were determined through a combination of corporate applications, WeChat voting, and expert scoring. The list of winners was announced at the 4th Smart Healthcare Innovation Forum and the eHealthcare Smart Innovation Awards Ceremony on May 26, 2018. No participation fee was charged during the application phase. Upon successful submission of the award application form or case study, applicants received one complimentary pass to observe the conference. Additionally, the organizing committee selected certain outstanding participating enterprises to reserve valuable opportunities for speeches and showcases of their innovative achievements.
