The Future Is Here: From Digital Hospitals to Smart Hospitals | China Smart Hospital Congress (CSHC 2018) to Be Held in Wuhan

With the implementation of the “Healthy China” strategy and continuous advancements in new technologies, provinces and municipalities across China are actively promoting the integration of smart healthcare with public health initiatives. In January 2018, the National Health and Family Planning Commission and the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine issued the "Notice on Printing and Distributing the Action Plan for Further Improving Medical Services (2018–2020)," deploying initiatives to enhance medical services over the following three years. The plan emphasizes both consolidating effective measures and innovating medical service delivery models, putting forward many highly anticipated requirements and objectives. It advocates a patient-centered approach, promotes multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatment models, and leverages "Internet Plus" strategies to build smart hospitals. Developing smart hospitals with Chinese characteristics has become an inevitable trend, marking the entry of Chinese hospitals into a new stage of digital development—the smart hospital era.

To power the future of smart hospitals, the China Smart Hospital Conference (CSHC 2018) was hosted by Zhuyitai, with joint support and co-organization from numerous key industry associations, hospitals, media outlets, enterprises, and other institutions.Scheduled for May 19–21, 2018, with “The 19th National Hospital Construction Conference & China International Exhibition on Hospital Construction, Equipment and Management”Held concurrently at the Wuhan International Expo Center in Hubei.
