Leyue Health Wins 'Outstanding Cross-Industry Contribution Award' in Insurance, Leads Commercial Health Insurance Direct-Payment Sector

Recently, at the “Golden Innovation Award” ceremony of the 2018 Asia-Pacific Internet Insurance International Summit, Leyue Health was honored with the “Outstanding Cross-Industry Contribution Award in Insurance.” Leveraging its commercially insured direct-billing platform, which ranks among the leading ones in China, Leyue Health has innovated medical services and addressed key pain points in insurance claims settlement.

The “Golden Innovation Award” is jointly presented by the Big Data Sharing Technology Professional Committee of the Institute of Innovation at the Chinese Academy of Management Science, Peking University, Shuxianghui, and other institutions. It aims to honor pioneering enterprises and individuals in the Asia-Pacific internet insurance industry who demonstrate exceptional entrepreneurial spirit and innovative strength, particularly recognizing their significant contributions to fostering rapid and orderly development within specialized industry sectors and promoting industry exchange across multiple dimensions, including technology, platforms, resource integration, product development, and marketing.

Holding the “Golden Innovation Award” plaque, Ms. Fu Xinhua, President of Leyue Health, stated that after fifteen years of deep engagement in the healthcare industry, Leyue Health has successfully integrated medical data with insurance claims processing, achieving an upgrade from offline to online commercial insurance claims settlement. This innovation has reduced the claims processing time, which previously took up to 30 days, to real-time settlement. For hospitals, this represents a people-centric innovative service project; for insurance institutions, it is a direct manifestation of returning to the core essence of protection and upgrading claims services. Fu Xinhua introduced that Leyue Health has currently assisted the health and family planning commissions of more than ten provinces and cities, including Liaoning, Nanjing, Sichuan, Chongqing, and Guiyang, in developing and operating commercial insurance service platforms. The network covers over 3,000 hospitals at Level II and above, ranking first in the industry in terms of both the number of connected hospitals and the number of partnered insurance companies.
