The inaugural Medlink Summit 2018 will officially open on May 30, 2018, at the Conrad Beijing Hotel. Guided by the National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China, hosted by The Economic Observer, and organized by Medlink, this year’s summit is themed “Breaking Barriers, Establishing New Norms.” It aims to fully embrace the new policies on “Internet + Healthcare,” covering a wide range of business topics from policy interpretation to the opportunities and challenges faced by medical institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and internet healthcare enterprises in response to the new regulations.
Since 2018, accompanied by Premier Li Keqiang’s important strategic deployment to accelerate the development of “Internet + Healthcare,” a series of new policies have been introduced. These initiatives have laid a crucial policy foundation for industry growth, signaling that the long-dormant “Internet + Healthcare” model will become a key driver in advancing China’s healthcare reforms and improving public health services in the future. Consequently, numerous institutions, including mobile health companies and biopharmaceutical enterprises, will face both new opportunities for rapid development and emerging challenges.
The summit has invited numerous distinguished guests, including leaders from the National Health Commission; Yongqing Luo, Global Vice President and General Manager of China at Gilead Sciences; Cheng Zhang, Managing Director and Head of Commercial Operations at Merck & Co.; Shirui Wang, Founder and CEO of Medlinker and Penguin Doctor; and Jia Zhai, Managing Director at Sequoia China. The event also brings together a wide range of experts and industry peers from leading healthcare institutions and companies, such as Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Beijing Anzhen Hospital, Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Hospital Group, Donghua Medical Group, Penguin Doctor, Bayer, Novartis, Eli Lilly, Takeda, AstraZeneca, and Sandoz.

With such a stellar lineup, the inaugural Medlink Summit promises to be exceptionally compelling. Interested participants are invited to scan the QR code to register; spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
