From Physicians to Clinic Leaders: 32 Doctors Complete 10-Hour Entrepreneurial Bootcamp Ahead of IPO Filing

Starting a business as a physician is no easy feat. Many purchase numerous books on “secrets to success,” covering topics such as clinic positioning, practice management, and operational marketing. While these readings inspire great enthusiasm, putting the advice into practice often proves exceedingly difficult.

To help physician entrepreneurs move beyond theoretical discussions, we have partnered with clinic-founder physicians on the front lines to launch the second cohort of the “Physician Entrepreneurship Practical Simulation Training.” This 10-hour program features hands-on, in-person exercises to guide you toward success.

In previous sandbox training sessions, we have observed that participants exhibit the following issues:

The knowledge system for opening a clinic is fragmented and incomplete, lacking a holistic perspective.

Lack of planning in fund allocation, with consideration given only to renovation and rent.

The belief that patient acquisition should be considered only after opening a clinic has resulted in clinics launching with no patients.

Vague Understanding of the Correct Sequence for Leasing, Licensing, and Renovation Leads to Numerous Hurdles in Clinic Establishment

Lack of Guidance from Industry Experts

Lack of Peer Exchange and Collaboration Opportunities

This “Practical Business Simulation Training for Physician Entrepreneurs” is the premier course offered by the Business School for cultivating managerial talent. By employing unique, intuitive teaching aids and incorporating market variables, and combining role-playing, scenario simulations, and instructor feedback, the program enables participants to fully experience the multi-year operational and management processes of an enterprise within a virtual competitive market environment, thereby mastering strategic decision-making and achieving success in the business arena.
